Val d’Isère – How to Have a Great Skiing Experience

Also known as “the peak of perfection” for skiing, Val d’Isère is perhaps the best ski resort in the world. It offers skiing and beautiful surroundings. With over 300 km of green, red and black pistes, this area is known for some highly challenging skiing and excellent après-ski activities.

Hotels

There is quite a range to choose from – budget, mid-range and luxury hotels.

Budget hotels can accommodate up to 250 people. Sleeping arrangements are dormitory style, and the price includes – equipment rentals, lift passes, and guiding. Travel expenses are not included.

Mid-range hotels include the Tsanteleina, which is a 4-star hotel and costs 270 Euros per room. Le Brussels is another hotel with charm and style. It is a bit more expensive – 375 Euros per room.

While it is not a ski chalet in Val d’Isère, there is a lot offered in this 5-star hotel. Choose from Avenue Lodge and Le Blizzard if you are not able to get lodgings elsewhere.

No trip to Val d’Isère is complete without a stay in a ski chalet. Guests can either book their rooms or go through a travel agent for accommodation. Most often than not, prices quoted are per person, including flight fares, transfers and accommodations. Make sure that your price includes all of the above so that you can manage your budget well.
