Steps & Stages: Disabled Women Veterans Resource Agency Incorporated is a community connected agency that seeks to connect transitioning veterans and their families to much needed services and support. In existence for nearly three years, Steps & Stages is a service disabled veteran owned organization.
This agency was birthed out of the great stress, struggle, strength, stretching and stalwart appreciation for veterans moving through the various steps and stages of this journey called life, especially women veterans.
Hence, the primary mission of Steps & Stages, is outreach and networking in order to provide women veterans with optimum opportunities for lifestyle stabilization and goal realization. We embrace the belief that a productive life is a life that is well lived.
Steps & Stages utilizes the holistic approach in the delivery of support and services to women veterans, many of whom are homeless and chronically ill. Our agency understands that in order to care for the veteran one must also provide services for the family
All disabled veterans that we encounter will be served, however our primary focus is meeting the unique needs and social challenges presented by the growing number of disabled women veterans and their families
Moreover, there is a great appreciation for help that comes from the federal sector, local groups and agencies, individuals, and from the faith based sector which continues to extends arms of care and concern.
